Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain has been announced as an ambassador for the Starlight Children's Foundation.

Hussain is helping the charity celebrate its 30th anniversary, becoming the face of Starlight's Birthday Cake Bake which starts October 10, and commented 'I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing charity. Starlight makes a huge difference to the lives of seriously ill children and their families. I really hope that people will join me and support Starlight by holding a cake bake in October'.
